Competitors ask an LLM to write your components. The result looks like the LLM wrote them. Lucid’s sections are authored by real designers and engineers, then selected and filled by the model. Every kit has its own variants — a split hero under Aurora looks nothing like a split hero under Ember.

Every image in a Lucid build is generated for your project by Nano Banana Pro in quality mode. No Unsplash, no vector clipart, no emoji. Each kit has its own image style — editorial for Ember, architectural for Glacier, monochrome for Mono. Transparent assets pass through rembg automatically.

03 · Spec engine

The AI fills a contract. It doesn’t write your code.

Every Lucid project starts as a BuildSpec — a validated JSON document that Claude populates and you can iterate on for free. When you’re happy, a deterministic engine walks the spec and emits real Next.js. Changes diff the spec, so “add a pricing section” re-generates two files, not your whole site. No infinite bug-fix loops.
