Credits are Lucid’s unit of build cost. They never expire. They don’t apply to spec generation, iteration, or preview deploys.
What buys what
1 credit: generate a spec, regenerate a single image, incremental rebuild of one section. 5 credits: full static-site build. 12 credits: full webapp build (includes Supabase schema + auth). 3 credits: publish to a custom domain. Numbers are canonical in packages/shared/src/constants/credits.ts; adjustments for beta users ship via server-side config, never hard-coded.
